SVCC is located in the city of Saginaw, Michigan.  Everyone who lives in the lower peninsula of Michigan uses their own hand as a living map of our mitten-shaped state to direct visitors to their home town; following this pattern, Saginaw can be found a few miles inland off the bay which separates the ‘Thumb’  from the ‘fingers’ of our mitten.  Originally inhabited by Native Sauk and then Ojibway tribes, the valley area was settled by French missionaries and traders in the 1600’s.  With an early history in the logging industry, Saginaw and her neighboring cities of Flint, Bay City and Midland have been home to many factories and family-owned businesses connected to the automotive industry since the early 1900’s.  Saginaw is a vibrant multi-cultural city in the heart of our state with a vibrant multi-cultural network of pastors and churches known as 'the Church of Saginaw'.

Pastors Richard & Patricia Sayad lead SVCC, a non-denominational body of believers which has been our home church since 2005; we love it!!  With fabulous worship, sound Biblical teaching and a regional outreach, SVCC is an apostolic sending center growing in the prophetic and apostolic move of God, leaving the “church” mold and entering the “Kingdom” flow.  The church is becoming an equipping center with the vision of welcoming those who need healing and restoration and sending out those equipped to minister the fullness of God to others.  Wounded ministers and ministries are set free in healing and restoration, enabled to pursue their calling with fresh vigor.  Healing rooms draw the suffering from miles around for prayer.  Quickly becoming known as a regional conference center, SVCC has been blessed to host gifted Kingdom teachers, prophets and apostles who continue to equip us to set the captives free. The body’s great desire is to take the church outside the four walls of the physical campus and reach those who are lost, in pain, rejected and ignorant of our Father God, His precious Son and awesome Holy Spirit.  SVCC is truly a viable resource for the body of Christ.  And did we mention; we love it!
