The name ‘Fresh Oil Ministries International’ was given to us in 1994.

Fresh Oil –  Scripture passages often use oil as a symbol of the Holy Spirit, or of His anointing on a life or ministry.  Bread, as physical food, is a symbol of spiritual sustenance gained from reading and hearing the Word.

  It is the aim of this ministry to offer fresh rather than stale bread [Word] and oil [anointing] as we meet with the Lord to hear His heart for specific cultures and persons.      

Ministries – Plural because our focus is multi-faceted:  equipping believers for work in the ministry; reaching out with refreshing and resources for pastors and leaders;  restoring people who have been wounded and broken in their souls and spirits; ministering  hope, healing and basic needs to those within our reach who cannot yet survive alone and the skills to become self-sufficient.  To accomplish these goals, we will make use of unlimited expressions, branches and outreaches: ministering in prophetic gifts, healings, deliverances, signs, wonders and miracles; teaching, instructing and mentoring; and practical actions such as establishing medical clinics, relief aid, evangelism outreaches, crusades and conferences as the Lord directs.

International –  Isaiah 55:5 [NASB] declares, “…and nations who know you not will run to you.”  We have been instructed to go into all the world  [ Matt 28:18-20, Mk 16:15-18 ] and preach the Gospel, the Good News of Christ,  in every inhabited area of the planet, using every form of communication, mode of travel and technology at our disposal.  Those who pray for, finance and physically assist us will come from a variety of countries around the world, giving international flavor to our efforts and bringing us favor everywhere we go.
